Yahoo is hiring an experienced Sr Optimization Strategist at their Bangalore location. The role Sr. Optimization Strategist is responsible for building and maintaining deep partnerships with Yahoo’s highest value clients in India across products (Native & Programmatic campaigns) to protect and grow digital advertising revenue from those clients.
The position involves Account Optimization, up-selling existing advertisers, cross-selling new products and providing daily support to achieve quarterly revenue and operational goals.
The complete details of this job are as follows:
Protect and grow Performance display ad revenue, Which includes both DSP business and Native ad Revenue.
Have a deep understanding and ability to analyse client ROI/CPA goals and data, media buying cycles, web site architecture, product/service update schedules, marketing philosophy, target demographics, etc.
Understand how Yahoo products, primarily Native and DSP, will assist clients in reaching their marketing goals.
Work side by side with an Account Director to sell into new business and assist with up-selling existing clients.
Act as the lead with your dedicated partner teams (AOS, CS, Reporting Analysts) to manage client services and develop account strategies.
Proactively create strategic recommendations and implement solutions for each client.
Expand relationships with regular face-to- face client visits to build and maintain deep-level partnerships. Act as a lead on all client-facing presentations and engage key internal participants when necessary.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of all internal systems to respond to general and specialized client requests; including click activity inquiries, bidding requests, performance issues, etc.
Maintain and update proficiency in performance marketing space and extend services of a performance advertising consultant to customers.
Responsible for special projects as assigned.
A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
5+ years of Account Management/campaign optimization experience with a preferred
Minimum of 3 yrs of account optimization (or similar) experience.
Experience working and thriving in a team environment with shared goals and business objectives.
A strong background working with clients face-to- face in an outside sales role.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding computer skills including advanced knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel),word processing (MS Word), and CRM systems.
Demonstrated experience effectively optimizing marketing campaigns by analysing performance and recommending adjustments to key performance drivers.
Passion for marketing and the Internet.
