Jimmy’s, a beverage startup, expects to reach Rs 100 crore in revenue by fiscal 2023-24 and hopes to cross Rs 40 crore in revenue this fiscal, according to Ankur Bhatia, the company’s founder and CEO. According to the company, its revenue from April to August was Rs 14.15 crore, up from Rs 5.41 crore in the same period last year. The drink mixer brand reported a 150% increase in demand during the holiday season (October) compared to the same time last year.
Founded in 2019, the brand is now available on major e-commerce platforms, quick commerce stores, and has an offline presence in 50 cities through 10,000 retail outlets. It plans to have 15,000 locations by March 2023. Furthermore, it exports its products to countries such as Australia, South Africa, Nepal, and the Maldives. With its three sparkling beverage variants, it announced this week that it has entered a new category of mixers. With this launch, it now offers both carbonated and non-carbonated mixers under the Jimmy’s brand.
“We are the market leaders in the non-carbonated mixers and second overall behind Coca Cola owned, Schweppes. With this launch of our carbonated range we are looking to solidify overall market leadership in this category.”- said bhatia. the brand has partnered with Ball, an American beverage can manufacturer for packaging of its new category of mixers- Tonic Water, Ginger Ale and Classic Lemonjuice, he added.
