RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Plenty of technology and life science events and program deadlines are coming up across North Carolina in December. Several events will be held in person or in a hybrid format, while many others remain virtual.
Building on WRAL TechWire’s ongoing work tracking important events and deadlines across North Carolina, here’s a look at what’s to come in December 2022:
For the fourth annual edition of its Triangle Tech X Conference, MetLife will bring together business and technology leaders to discuss the role women in STEM play in building solutions to current problems.
Held annually, the Southeast Renewable Energy Summit convenes the region’s clean energy sector to discuss trends in grid reliability/resilience, energy policies and procurement strategies, the M&A market, project financing and more.
This workshop will cover the latest trends in innovation and show participants how to protect their business’s ideas, assets and brand.
This free monthly interactive webinar provides participants with an overview of NC TECH’s activities, resources and member offerings.
In this day-long event, undergraduate students from colleges, universities and community colleges across the state will showcase their research and creative projects through posters, presentations, performances and art displays.
The Downtown Techies Happy Hour event series is back at Raleigh’s Lynnwood Brewing Concern. Join to network with peers.
This pitch event will showcase women-led startups that are developing health tech solutions. The program includes presentations, expert panelists, audience participation and networking.
CIOs, CISOs and senior IT leaders will gather in Charlotte for an evening of networking over catered fare.
Code for Durham brings together technologists, designers, developers, data scientists, map makers and activists to collaborate on civic technology projects. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month.

For its Flash Grant program, the North Carolina Biotech Center is on the lookout for innovative high-potential life science technology ideas. Up to $20,000 may be requested.
